Description

This piece, inspired by the most famous work of the Viennese painter, was made to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Gustav Klimt (1862-1918). Klimt’s painting, influenced by symbolism and art nouveau, stands out for its ornamental exuberance, so the challenge for Lladró’s artists has been to remain faithful to the spirit of the original by means of a decoration in which the golden luster, the application of enamels and the different shades of gloss and Matte play a fundamental role.
