Lladró has taken inspiration from the opening music to the legendary musical Chicago, by Bob Fosse, to create one of the most vibrant pieces in the catalogue. A sculpture decorated in the most vibrant colours of the palette: intense blacks, chic purples, sophisticated makeup and the reddish hue of the dancer’s hair, giving it a bold look. But if anything truly embodies this dance form, it’s the movements of the dancers: the torso, legs, arms, hands and shoulders; the whole body coveys emotion in a piece that invites us to get up on the dance floor.
