From chemistry to modeling, as well as carving, etching, painting…

The roaring twenties saw the rise of the glamorous and exuberant Art Deco movement, recognizable for its aerodynamic lines and geometric patterns. One hundred years ago, design sought a communion between geometry and nature. The creators of Art Deco discovered a fascinating world of forms inspired by plant motifs as well as by the pure stylized lines of contemporary art. Straight and curved lines were combined to make elegant patterns.

An art form that marked a whole era and which now regains all its currency in the designs of the Seasons collection. This unique style,
the end result of a painstaking process of etching and ornamentation, is recovered in the forms of each one of the fragments with which these spectacular lamps are composed.

At the same time, the various seasons of the year are captured in the masterful treatment of color that conveys the particular beauty of each one, with their changes, depending on day or night or the particular place. Creations that range from spring green in Edinburgh and the blue of summertime in Santorini to the bluish-grey tones of winter in New York. All the colors are applied in gradients by hand on fragments that emulate leafy vegetation.
